In the past half century, there isn’t much Duke Robillard hasn’t done in the blues. Founding and leading Roomful of Blues a dozen years, recording 38 acclaimed albums under his name, producing and playing on many more. He has received 2 Grammy nominations and 5 Blues music/ WC Handy awards and over 20 nominations. Plus receiving awards from France, Canada among other countries. Duke has recorded and/or toured with Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jay McShann, Jimmy Witherspoon, John Hammond, Billy Boy Arnold, Maria Muldaur and way too many more important blues artists to list here.
