Tom Anderson EP Release Party with Special Guest FauxMenco
Tom Anderson - Tom Anderson’s second EP of 2022, “Girl from Osaka,” is streaming on December 15th. The Boston-born punk folk musician released “General Ledger of Lunatics” earlier this year. Folk stories about Scottish witches, lost rock bands in Brittany, teenage rejection, Jane Austen, and the MBTA Red Line are delivered with punk rhythms and touches of classical and rock. Ethan Mackler, bassist, will join Tom on stage in the EP launch event, along with violinist Yulia Price, and drummer Pat Gaulin.

FauxMenco are Catherine Capozzi and Rafi Sofer, adapting a loud, adventurous, and experimental electric guitar language to a nylon-string, guitar-duo setting. Drawing from rock, surf, gypsy, and of course flamenco, FauxMenco explore and write instrumental guitar songs that are propulsive and timeless.
