The Cat Attic is a progressive folk-rock quintet that combines mandolin, violin, bass, drums, and vocal harmonies to create a unique style of americana they call "city folk." After starting in 2019, The Cat Attic released their debut full-length album A House with Stairs in the spring of 2020. The album showcases the group's multi-genre influences from bluegrass and singer song-writer to progressive rock and psychedelia. With the global pandemic sidelining live performances in 2020, the group returned to the studio to record their second album, due for release later this year. As live in-person music returns to Boston and beyond, Richard (mandolin/vocals), Holli (vocals), Mike (bass), Jenna (violin), and Dav (drums) are ready to return to the stage and share their love for folk rock far and wide!
