The Electric Heaters, Mr. Galaxy
The Electric Heaters play Retro-sonic Surf Noir; instrumental music for the 21st Century. If the new James Bond were played by Dick Dale and Khruanbin did the theme song. Think moody, and groovy instrumental music for the 21st Century. Led by guitarist Matt Heaton and his reverb drenched guitar twang, the Heaters mix familiar sounds with just the right modern ingredients—like a perfect cocktail, their musical mixology goes down just right. Instrumental guitar music inspired by, but not limited to the surf sounds of the 60s. You might hear hints of Morricone or Booker T, Link Wray or the Raybeats. Well chosen covers (60s classics and 80s pop songs) sit beside Heaton originals. Suitable for dancing, drink sipping or secret rendezvous.

Mr. Galaxy - "This is a high-flying wide-open surf showcase record. So that means a wide array of instruments and sounds bursting and flashing, and boosting the melodies subtly with fun flourishes. There are moments of noodling, jazzy grooving, and even 60's soundtracky beat-psychedelia. Rather than a collection of songs, this record is a performance, and it's a lively, imaginative, wonderful one." - Hunter King, WTUL 91.5 New Orleans
"I keep playing this band week after week because their stuff is innovative and great. These guys really know how to play their instruments" — Jonpaul Balak, Luxuriamusic.com
Adam Steinberg (Guitar). Songwriter and producer, Dixie Chicks and Patty Griffin.
Phil Aiken: Songwriter, singer, piano slinger.
David Andrew Moore (Drums) Touring Jazz drummer, Band leader/composer.
Andy Santospago: (Guitar) Songwriter and Graduate of Berklee College of Music.
Matthew Girard (Bass): Session musician and engineer at Revolution sound.
