"A Guitarist Is" aims to celebrate the range of genres and identities that come under the umbrella of "guitarists." The first of its kind taking place in May 2019, singer and guitarist Savoir Faire hopes to inspire an evolution in what has traditionally been a static definition of "guitar heroes" in the music industry by showcasing the array of talent and creativity that Boston's music scene has to offer. The second "A Guitarist Is" show will include Amy Mantis (Amy Mantis and the Space Between), Chris Walton, Andrew DiMarzo, and Donna Vatnick. The show will also serve as a fundraiser for the Boys and Girl's Club Boston music clubhouses, hoping to support the music heroes of the future.

Amy Mantis and the Space Between is a rock (and roll) band that falls in the gap of what came before and what has yet to come. With an emphasis on songcraft and performance, Amy and her band look to deliver articulate, compelling tunes with a tight, punchy groove.

Chris Walton is a Singer/Songwriter/Producer. His music is a cool blend of Old Soul and R&B with a modern aesthetic. Chris is equally comfortable writing an intimate introspective love song or an up beat pop banger. His EP Bsides (released in 2018) is available on all streaming platforms, and is a collection of some of his favorite songs written while attending Berklee. He is currently working on new music to be released in 2020.

Andrew DiMarzo is a Boston based guitarist and songwriter who performs with musicians from around the world to incorporate their unique playing styles into a soul/rock genre that sits in the veins of artists like Jeff Buckley, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Allen Stone. DiMarzo's music is very groove-oriented, maintaining a high-energy fans and audiences can dance to!
