Brian O'Donovan Legacy Series: Liz Hanley
Singer, fiddle player Liz Hanley makes her return to the backroom at the Burren to celebrate the release of her sophomore album. Joined by Jefferson Hamer and Eamon O’Leary of The Murphy Beds, the trio present traditional and original folk songs with tight string arrangements and close vocal harmonies. A native of Boston and a Brooklyn resident, Hanley performed with Mick Moloney’s The Green Fields of America, prog folk rock ensemble Frogbelly and Symphony and can be found playing around the New York City Irish session scene. As longtime friends of Brian O’Donovan, we are honored to take part in this commemorative series.
