SHK Music Presents: Gravel Project, Otis Grove at Warehouse XI
Please join us for a special evening of great music, art vendors and a really cool OG light show.
This co-bill event features The Gravel Project – a band who has transformed their original Santana and Allman Brothers inspired sound into their own marvelous musical mix of blues, rock, jazz, soul and world music. At its core is Andrew Gravel on guitar and vocals, brother Jordan on the Hammond organ, Dave Fox on drums and Eguie Castrillo on percussion. Joining them will be a pair of well-known Boston powerhouses: Jesse Williams on bass and Jen Kearney sharing the vocal duties. They have headlined many shows around New England and have shared the stage with some great bands like Tedeschi Trucks.

Opening the evening will be one of Boston’s classic funk groups, Otis Grove. They formed some 20 years ago as a collective experiment in crossing the traditional organ jazz sound with funk, hip-hop, and rock tones. Since then, they have evolved into a unique blend of aggressive rock n' roll and high-intensity organ funk (some fans have dubbed their genre 'Runk'- a mixture of rock and funk), paying tribute to the masters while consistently pushing itself in new directions.
Among the wonderful vendors who will be displaying their work at the Warehouse will be Somerville’s own New Art Alliance. And helping to create an atmosphere reminiscent of the 60‘s & 70’s rock club scene will be the liquid light show magic of Sons Lunaris.

It has a wine, beer (and sometimes more) available for purchase.
