Luiza is a Boston-based singer-songwriter who embraces the rhythms and colors from her native Brazil.  She has developed her own unique, infectious sound by combining her roots with alternative rock and jazz. She grew up in an artistic family, but it took her a battle with cancer and a mental health crisis to fully embrace the call to be an artist. Luiza’s music strives to take ordinary topics and paint them in a new, extraordinary light.  She is a recent graduate of the Berklee School of Music, but as audiences attending her recent performances at Boston Harbor Distillery and other local venues already know, Luiza performs with a musical sophistication well beyond her years.   Guaranteed that she and her band will have lots of people up dancing at our cool "new" space at Warehouse XI.. 

Opening for Luiza's ensemble will be an exciting four piece Indie-Groove band called Round Trip.  They blend eclectic songwriting and powerful riffs with communicative improvisational techniques to create a polished provocative sound that has thrilled audiences at multiple venues and on radio stations throughout New England.  Featuring Jake Stevenson [guitar, vocals], Michael Schmidt [keyboards], Drake Millhausen [bass], and Walker Macmillan [drums]  - Round Trip is a band that promises to 'Take you there and back".  



We at SHK Music are very excited to begin a relationship with Warehouse XI and site owner, Peggy. It is a really cool event space located in Union Square - a mix of standing room and seating with plenty of room to dance and move around. It has a wine and beer (and sometimes more) bar and while no food is served, there are many great places to grab something a few steps away,
