Phil Aiken and The Gypsy Moths Dual Album Release Show
Phil Aiken is a fixture in the Boston music scene having performed, recorded or collaborated with dozens of local and national artists and bands as keyboardist. As a solo artist, Phil’s recordings and performances have established him as a thoughtful and clever singer/songwriter with a legion of influences, informed by artists like Todd Rundgren, Elvis Costello, Tom Waits, John Hiatt, and Warren Zevon. Phil emerges as a fully developed artist without apology or reservation on his upcoming album Here Goes Nothing. Following up the sprawling 4 album set Redemption Center with this sharply focused effort, he tells you what he thinks, feels, and is annoyed about with disarming honesty.

The Gypsy Moths - Garage soul shakers The Gypsy Moths are celebrating the release of their brand new album "Sounds On", released by acclaimed purveyors of indie/garage/swaggering rock and roll Rum Bar Records. The band is riding high off of recent streaming radio and critical reaction to their single "Tilt-A-Whirl", with airplay rotation on "Little Steven's Underground Garage" channel on Sirius XM and top ten placements on stations and shows in the US, UK, Australia, Spain, and Japan. Their return to the Burren Backroom stage comes hot on the heels of the band's performance at the renowned In Between Days Festival in August. "The Gypsy Moths explore retro coolness of a slightly different kind, their combo of jangling guitars and horns mixes garage rock chops with a distant soul influence; a sound which this Boston band makes fly." (Real Gone Music)
