Modesty Shorts
Comprised of four teachers and a Venture Capitalist, Modesty Shorts formed in 2017 as the brainchild of three marathon runners raising funds for basic, innovative cancer research at Dana-Farber. Looking for a fundraiser alternative that gave donors "more bang for their buck" in terms of experience, their powers combined to put together a charity rock concert, entitled "It's Not About the Music", covering classic tunes, and sometimes even covering covers of classic tunes. Committed to rocking out to knock out cancer by donating every penny after expenses to Dana-Farber, they've raised over $40,000 since 2017. Since then, they've played sold out rooms from Lansdowne Street to Thunder Road, playing on all the major holidays (SantaCon, Cinco de Mayo, and Leap Day). Thrilled to bring the party to the Legendary Burren Back Room for April Fools' Day, MoSho is hoping you bring your earplugs... Cause this time, we're Not Foolin' Around.
