The Barrett Anderson Band - Barrett Anderson cites influences that range from the J. Geils Band to Morphine, and Bo Diddley to Muddy Waters. Anderson performed at the original House of Blues in Harvard Square at age 15 with legendary pianist Pinetop Perkins and guitarist Bob Margolin, and before long Anderson found himself playing vintage acoustic blues. He joined Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters, from 1999 to 2002, after which he formed The Barrett Anderson Band featuring his lead vocals & guitar, Charlie Mallet on guitar & vocals, Doug MacLeod drums, and Jamie "Black Cat Bone" Hatch on bass & vocals.
